The story itself was great. It was something new and even when it was about the college life of nerdy girl it still wasn't the cliché story that everybody knows (cough cough After).
But for almost the whole book I was seriously annoyed by the main character Cath. In my eyes, she just seemed so weak. There were moments when I just wanted to shake with her till she pulls herself together.
But I really appreciate her character development towards the end.
The book itself was really interesting and something entirely new for me. The idea of falling in love in one day is cute but far more interesting is the point of view by two so different people. The way they both perceive the world is so eye-opening and so fresh.
Personally, I like Natasha more because her way of seeing the world is very realistic and her knowledge about science and history is just admirable.
The book itself is written in the way I have never seen before. There are chapters that are written from the point of view of random people.
Táto kniha bola moja prvá kniha zo žánru "Magický realizmus". Musím povedať, že to bol pre mňa veľmi jedinečný zážitok a to vo všetkých zmysloch slova jedinečný. Bol to veľmi mätúci príbeh plný ešte zvláštnejších ľudí. Môžem Vám však zaručiť, že túto knihu dočítate aj keby sa Vám nepáčila, pretože jednoducho budete chcieť zistiť, čo sa v tejto knihe vlastne deje.
