This is probably the worst story i have seen published by Junji Ito. The story was confusing, bland and had the worst ending I have ever seen to a short story. Waste of 18€ in my opinion. Wouldn't recommend even to a Junji Ito fan.

Ito's style tends to strip away any himt of realism. He like to jab at things beyond comprehension, which is why these short stories are so good. Truly had a fun time reading this and would recommend to any graphic novel fan.

I would deem Gyo as one of the scariest works Junji ito has ever made. It's got an amazing art style and some extra stories at the end of the book. Definitely a good read and would recommend for any horror manga fan out there.

This is one of the more popular books from Junji Ito that he has written, although very popular, I do not think it is the greatest story Ito has ever written.
Don't get me wrong, still a great book with an amazing story and an even greater art style. Best starter out there for people that want to get into Junji Ito's work. But doesn't have the best writing out of them all. Still an amazing book and would 100% recommend.
