Hi-Tec Architecture

In the late 1970s, word spread that there was a new style that increasingly included cutting-edge technological and industrial elements in the construction of buildings. The style was called "hi tec" and took on the architectural landscape by a storm. Characteristic of high tech buildings are lightness of materials and transparency. The present volume shows many of the most outstanding technological developments in the contemporary architectural scene, which in future will be used more and more in buildings and residential properties.
