Years ago, Marin’s mother and Alice Lovelace were best friends.

When Marin loses her mother, Alice extends her an offer she can’t turn down – a place to live for the summer, and a fresh start away from her memories. Marin accepts the coveted position as a nanny at Lovelace House, a coastal Maine estate drowning in history and rumours.
