About the Author
Edgar Rice Burroughs (18751950) was one of the 20th century's most popular and prolific writers of science-fiction and fantasy adventure tales, publishing nearly 70 novels and numerous short stories during his career. Best known for his Tarzan series, Burroughs also wrote eleven novels in the John Carter of Mars series.
