Německá trash metalová kapela Kreator vznikla v roce 1982 v Essenu a už za dob normalizace patřila k nejpopulárnějším spolkům v tuzemské metalové komunitě. Styl skupiny se poměrně často proměňoval, od speed metalového inspirace přes trash k industriálnímu a gorickému metalu. Zároveň jsou považováni za pionýry death a black metalu. Po roce 2000, tedy zhruba od alba Violent Revolution, se kapela vrací ke svým trash-metalovým kořenům.
Tato kompilace obsahuje skladby z dnes již klasického období, kdy skupina působila u labelu Noise Records, doplněné o rarity, živé nahrávky a remixy.
