Neskutočne priemerné

Fitzgeraldova rétorika je neuveriteľná, to, mu treba uznať. Jeho dlhé vety... milujem. Postavy? Tie by som Fitzgeraldovy tiež rada uznala, Dick je tak prepracovanou osobou, že až. Rosemary mi však prišla viac menej nepotrebná.

why two stars then, right? the plot is so boring and unexciting it hurts. it moves so so so slowly... i wish the book was 100 pages shorter (even though that wouldn’t fit fitzgerald’s long-ass sentences haha). yes, the development and the slow motion is interesting and the build-up probably wouldn’t be as significant if the book was much shorter but ehhhhh tender is the night and me did not click overall.
