To najlepšie v rámci žanru!
Máme tu ďalšiu výberovku od Jonathana Strahana, toho najlepšieho, čo sa v žánri urodilo počas minulého roku. Prvý-krát som siahol po neprekladovej verzii tejto publikácie a z odstupu času som zistil, že čítať to ,je najlepšie v origináli. Hlavne som bol zvedavý na jednú krátku poviedku Selkie Stories are not for Losers. A bol som prekvapený koľko tých drobných vecí sa stratí pri preklade. Nie žeby český preklad bol zlý, opak je pravdou, bol suprový, ale chýbal mu ten cit, čo autorka dala do daného textu. Dá sa povedať, že som rozumel a aj pochopil skoro všetky poviedky, ale uniká mi vyznenie prvej poviedky, ktorú som tak celkovo nepochopil. Stalo sa mi to iba raz a, to pri poviedke Gernsbackovo kontinuum. Na koniec chcem konštatovať, že tento výber nie je smerodajný, čo sa týka vkusu a hodnotenia čitateľov. Bolo oveľa viac dobrých diel, ktoré si zaslúžili byť, v tejto výberovke, ale jednoducho sa nezmestili alebo boli moc dlhé. Uvidíme, na budúci rok! Číst víc
